Trans-Siberian Orchestra To Play Royal Farms Arena On Nov. 21
Arena-rock band Trans-Siberian Orchestra is coming to Baltimore for an anticipated show this November.

BALTIMORE, MD — American rock super-band Trans-Siberian Orchestra is coming to Baltimore. Tickets are now available to see the group play at Royal Farms arena on Nov. 21.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra was founded in 1996 by producer Paul O'Neill. He enlisted the help of Savatage members Jon Oliva and Al Pitrelli, as well as keyboardist Robert Kinkel to make the creative team. The progressive rock band's music has been described as "Pink Floyd meets Yes and the Who at Radio City Music Hall" by the Washington Post.
In the time since, TSO has sold more than 10 million albums and concert tickets. It has released an array of rock operas, including its popular holiday albums like "Christmas Eve and Other Stories," "The Christmas Attic" and "The Lost Christmas Eve." Today's touring group includes four guitarists, two bassists, four keyboardists, two electric violinists, two drummers and 18 vocalists. There are also two narrators who orate the show. Concerts are not only known for outstanding music, but also for elaborate effects. A light show with lasers, moving trusses and video screens are synchronized to the heart-pumping music.

What makes TSO so unique, perhaps, is its path straight to the top. It is the first major rock band that didn't start out in dingy clubs, but instead immediately opened at theaters and arenas. The band has never been an opening act. The group's founder O'Neill passed away in 2017, but the music act continues on in his honor.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra's winter tour kicks off on Nov. 13 in Green Bay, WI, and travels across the U.S. before wrapping things up in Chicago on Dec. 30. The show in Baltimore is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
