UMBC Men's Basketball Coach Odom Leaving For Utah State
Odom's coaching record at UMBC stands at 97-60. He's been at UMBC since 2016.

BALTIMORE, MD — Ryan Odom, men's basketball coach at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, has accepted a coaching position with Utah State, the university announced Monday.
Odom has been at UMBC since 2016 and in 2018 guided the Retrievers to become the first-ever No. 16 seed in the NCAA Tournament to knock off a No. 1 seed when his team beat Virginia. Odom's coaching record at UMBC stands at 97-60, The Salt Lake Tribune reported.
The Aggies head coach Craig Smith recently left Utah State to coach the University of Utah. Smith earned three consecutive NCAA Tournament berths.
