Wind Advisory Issued For Baltimore

A wind advisory calls for gusts up to 50 mph in Baltimore and parts of Maryland.

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore is under a wind advisory Monday calling for powerful wind gusts. Trees may fall and power could be knocked out as a result, according to the National Weather Service, which issued the advisory.

From 2 p.m. to midnight, forecasters say 15 to 25 mph northwest winds and gusts up to 50 mph are possible.

Since the ground is saturated, it will be easier for trees to topple over, according to the advisory.
