'The Wire' Named Best Classic TV Series
The popular show filmed in Baltimore was given its award at the 2020 American Black Film Festival.
LOS ANGELES — “The Wire” has brought in another award. The crime drama was named the best classic TV show this week at the American Black Film Festival in Los Angeles.
Wendell Pierce, who played "Bunk," accepted the award onstage with several other cast members.
