1,000-Flag Field of Honor to Be Held Memorial Day Weekend

Hubbard Funeral Home is Presenting Tribute to Past and Present Veterans.

CATONSVILLE, MD -- A Charlestown Field of Honor Memorial Day weekend display of 1,000 full-size American flags will be held to honor military veterans.

Hubbard Funeral Home is presenting the Charlestown Field of Honor. This event benefits Charlestown’s Benevolent Care Fund and Warfighter Sports, a nonprofit that provides adaptive sports to severely wounded veterans free of cost.

This display of 1,000 American flags pays tribute to the hundreds of thousands of past and present American veterans who have served their country and to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Each flag is purchased by individuals and organizations to honor a military veteran.
