CATONSVILLE, MD — While getting ready to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, a Catonsville resident picked up a Maryland Lotto instant ticket that proved the luck of the Irish was on his side. St. Patrick's Day is this man's favorite holiday and the instant ticket netted him $50,000.
The 69-year-old Catonsville man bought the lucky game at New Hampshire Liquors in Takoma Park where he regularly purchases instant tickets. This is the first big win he's landed.
“I was very excited in the store because the owners have been so nice to me over the years,” he told Maryland Lotto.
