One-year-old rooster Sammy Sunshine (#4653) may not have four paws, but he will certainly brighten your day with his big personality. This handsome fella was brought into Baltimore County Animal Services as a stray and the shelter hopes to find him a wonderful home where he will have lots of space to roam and crow as much as his little heart desires.

While it is recommended by experts to have one rooster for every 10 hens, depending on the amount of land available to them, differing ratios can also be successful. At Baltimore County Animal Services, there is no adoption fee associated with taking home any of our exotic pets, like Sammy Sunshine.
