Shelter staff and volunteers describe Daiquiri Ship as curious who loves the outdoors. While she's very friendly, she can be slightly timid when meeting people, so be sure to proceed slowly and allow her time to adjust. Daiquiri Ship should go to a home without kids or cats. If interested families already have a dog, it's important to bring him or her to the shelter for a meeting to see how well they get along.

Shelter life can be rough on an animal no matter how well cared for they are there. Since arriving, Daiquiri Ship has exhibited fear, anxiety and stress, so she's been put on an antianxiety medicine. Once in a stable home, she may not need the medicine anymore. Daiquiri Ship also could benefit from additional training with her loving new family.
