Baltimore County in Need of Member for Environmental Quality Committee

First District Councilman Tom Quirk is seeking a local appointee to the Baltimore County Commission on Environmental Quality (CEQ).

The mission of the CEQ is to educate the public and maintain a dialogue on environmental issues impacting the County and within County government. The CEQ meets a minimum of four times per year and has 15 members serving three year terms, seven of which represent each of the County’s unique Council districts. Members of the CEQ must possess demonstrated interest, knowledge, or training in environmental issues, environmental preservation, resource conservation, or related disciplines.
