The windows at 827 Frederick Road are vacant no more.
Catonsville non-profit, Believe in Tomorrow Children's Foundation, has transformed the space into a temporary storefront promoting the organization's mission.
Property owner Craig Witzke approached the foundation about using the space for free. The storefront has been vacant since skate shop in January.

Believe in Tomorrow was founded by Catonsville native Brian Morrison, who is the president and CEO of the organization. Its current headquarters are at the other end of Frederick Road on the 6600 block, and communications associate Sara Brennan said the group will remain at that space while also utilizing the other location.
The windows on the storefront on the 800 block are decorated with images of children whom the organization has helped. Believe in Tomorrow provides long-term housing and respite care for critically ill children in Maryland and other parts of the country.

The space will help promote the organization, Brennan said.
"We've been in the area for 30 years and sometimes people forget we're here," she said. "We want to remind Catonsville we're here and also thank them."
Many of the organization's volunteers also live in Catonsville, Brennan said.
The space will also be open on Saturdays, with a grand opening planned for Saturday from 2-5 p.m. with live music. The space will be staffed by volunteers on weekends and will include surplus items for sale. Currently the organization has toys and furniture that it does not need, Brennan said.
The storefront will also be open for packet pick-up for the Port to Fort 6k race on April 29, which is a fundraiser for the organization. The race is in Baltimore, but runners will need to pick up items for their race ahead of time. A total of 3,000 runners will participate, meaning that a lot of those runners will likely visit Frederick Road ahead of the race, Brennan said.Â
