Catonsville Women’s Group Aims to Help Nonprofits

The Catonsville Women's Giving Circle is a group of philanthropic women who came together to improve their town.

A group of local women is working to improve Catonsville, one nonprofit at a time.

The Catonsville Women’s Giving Circle aims to have an impact on town by providing funding to charitable organizations and programs. In 2012, the group distributed $20,250 to 13 Catonsville organizations.

The group holds it first Grants Showcase at 7 p.m. on April 11 at Mount de Sales Academy, where 2012’s grantees will discuss projects they have completed or are working on with the money from the Women’s Giving Circle.
