Crime Roundup: Armed Robbery at Family Dollar

The following information are summaries of crime reports from Precinct One/Wilkens of the Baltimore County Police Department.

Second-degree buglary: At 6:30 p.m. on April 3, someone broke into a garage on the 200 block of Garden Ridge Road and stole several electrical motors.

Unarmed robbery: At 12:09 a.m. April 9, three suspects approached a man at the bus stop at Ingleside and Edmondson avenues. According to the police report, one of the suspects demanded the victim empty his pockets while the other struck him in the face. The three suspects ran away but police were able to locate them later and made arrests.

Child abuse: At 7 a.m. on April 14, the father of a child in a home on the 5600 block of Edmondson Avenue was arrested after he struck the child multiple times leaving visible injuries.

Armed robbery: At 9:02 p.m. on April 14, two suspects entered the Family Dollar, located at 5511 Edmondson Avenue. According to the police report, one of the suspects displayed a handgun, ordered an employee to empty the cash register. The first suspect told the employees to get on the ground. A second suspect entered the store as the first one was leaving.

Fourth-degree burglary: At 3:31 p.m. on April 15, a witness saw a white pickup truck pull up to the back of the , located at 601 Maidens Choice Lane. According to the police report, the suspects placed several cast iron pipes into the truck bed and drove away.
