Prospective Freshman Evening at Catonsville High School

We are pleased and excited to invite 8th grade students and their

families to what has proven to be a most enlightening and informative evening about the extraordinary opportunities offered to students at Catonsville High School. CHS offers an impressive and extensive array

of advanced and challenging courses, clubs and activities, athletic teams, etc. that serve the needs and interests of all of our students.  Catonsville High School has been cited as one of the nation’s best high schools and surpasses county, state, and national means on standardized tests such as the SAT. Catonsville High School consistently leads area high schools, both public and private, with respect to student achievement on Advanced Placement exams and in the number of

National Merit Finalists.

ALL students and families are invited at 6:00 p.m. on January 12, 2012 to our school auditorium to learn about Catonsville High School.  The administrative team will give an overview of our course offerings, schedule, registration process, extracurricular activities, athletics, etc.

Students enrolled in GT courses in 8^th grade and their families and those who want to learn about the CHS GT Program are invited at 7:00 p.m. on January 12, 2012 to our school cafeteria to hear from current CHS students in all grades enrolled in GT and Advanced Placement courses.  You will learn about the most challenging courses offered at CHS and be able to ask a panel of students about how they balance academics with extracurricular activities.
