A fundraiser at the Patapsco Horse Center in Catonsville will generate support for the Maryland Council for Special Equestrians.
CATONSVILLE, MD — The Maryland Council for Special Equestrians will be hosting a three-series fundraising event called Friday Night at the Farm. Live music along with wine and craft beer provided for sale by local vineyards and breweries will be available to attendees.
The first Sip, Sip, Hooray event will be held June 18 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and again on July 16 and Aug. 20. The event will take place at the Patapsco Horse Center, 2501 Frederick Rd., Catonsville. All proceeds benefit the Maryland Council for Special Equestrians, a non-profit organization offering equine facilitated therapies to individuals with disabilities.
MCSE offers weekly 30-minute sessions in hippotherapy, a program that uses horses as an integral part of the rehabilitation process, working with people of all ages with cerebral palsy, developmental delay, multiple sclerosis, hypotonia and balance disorders.
