I-695 Crash Clears Near Route 40

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A crash on Interstate 695 slowed traffic Wednesday night on the inner loop for more than an hour. At 7:05 p.m, officials said several vehicles collided near the exit for US 40/Baltimore National Pike.

As emergency personnel responded to the crash, the two left lanes and left shoulder were closed on the inner loop in the area of the US 40 exit.

By 8:45 p.m., the Maryland State Highway Administration reported all lanes had reopened.
