One-Time Premium Pay Awarded To Baltimore County Employees

These one-time premium payments will be funded through Baltimore County's American Rescue Plan Act allocation.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The county will provide a one-time premium pay of $3,000 for first responders, public safety and public health employees as well as a one-time premium pay of $1,000 for all other eligible county employees.

These one-time premium payments will be funded through Baltimore County’s American Rescue Plan Act allocation and will be in addition to other steps, increments and a mid-year cost of living increase included in Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski's fiscal year 2022 budget request.

“For more than a year, county workers have consistently and courageously gone above and beyond in serving on the front lines of this crisis,” Olszewski said in a news release. “The people of Baltimore County are forever grateful for the commitment of county employees to our communities and we’re proud to provide this important recognition of their life-saving efforts.”
