Photos: See Damage to Field House After Being Ransacked

The softball program is accepting donations to repair and restore the concessions stand and equipment that were vandalized last week.

Inside the concession stand, the snowball machine, microwaves and grills were damaged, and plastic cups and utensils were strewn about. A glass door of the display cooler was smashed, sending broken glass across the floor.

Softball trophies dating back to the 1990s were also destroyed.

Volunteers found smashed soda cans, indicating the cans may have been thrown at the trophies, which were 12 feet off the floor.

The cash register and safe were also stolen, Kreis said.

Volunteers worked Friday and Saturday to get the concession stand up and running for games on Saturday.

The softball program is accepting donations to cover the costs of the losses.

Checks can be made payable to Catonsville Rec & Parks and mailed to Catonsville Girls Softball at 606 Hilton Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228.
