'She Lives On In All Of Us': Mother's Day Photos

Help us celebrate Mother's Day 2018 by sending in your mother-daughter look-alike photo.

Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies, humor or a combination of them all, daughters become reflections of the women who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Maryland to share their "mother-daughter look-alike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies!

Rebecca Boughamer of Catonsville shared this photo of her family, showing the resemblance that carried through four generations of women. Here is what she said about the picture:

This photo was taken at my Grandmother’s home in Silver Spring on Mother’s Day in 2012. We lost my grandmother in April of this year. She was the true matriarch of our family, leaving behind 7 children, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. I know this Mother’s Day will be challenging as we all think of her and miss her; but as is evident in this photo, she lives on in all of us.

Submit your look-alike photos by sending them to elizabeth.janney@patch.com. Be sure to include a message for your loved one, as well as the city/location of the photo and the date it was taken, if you have it.

Boughamer's grandmother, Mary Hartman, is seated on the right, and Alysia Griffin’s daughter, Sierra Powers, is in the middle. Photo courtesy of Rebecca Boughamer.
