Summer Virtual Dance Intensive Offered To BCPS Students
The first ever summer virtual dance intensive will be held July 6-9 for BCPS students in grades 5th through 12th.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The Baltimore County Public Schools Office of Dance Education will be offering its first ever summer virtual dance intensive. The summer camp will take place on Google Meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., from July 6 through July 9.
The camp is open to all interested students currently in 5th through 12th grades. There will be no auditions. During the camp, each day will begin with a masterclass taught by a dance professional. Then students will participate in modern dance, ballet, jazz dance and choreography classes at their appropriate grade level. The cost of the camp is $75 and participating students will receive camp t-shirts.
“We are excited to provide this opportunity for students to engage with professional dancers through the morning masterclass series and dive deeper into their own training under the guidance of our summer staff members,” Sonia Synkowski, BCPS dance resource teacher, said. “I hope dancers of all ability levels will take advantage of this opportunity for summer study.”
