Swami Swaminathan Joins NKF Serving Maryland and Delaware Board
CIO brings 25 years of healthcare IT experience to the nonprofit
LUTHERVILLE, Md. (Apr. 15, 2020) −The National Kidney Foundation Serving Maryland and Delaware has elected Swami Swaminathan to a two-year term on its board of directors.
A healthcare IT executive with more than 25 years of experience, Swaminathan is the Chief Information Officer of RELI Group Inc in Catonsville. He previously held management and director positions with such firms as NewWave Telecom and Technologies, Northrop Grumman and Telligen.
Swaminathan began his career as MIS programmer with the Ministry of Industry and Public Works in Doha, Qatar.
He holds the following degrees and certifications:

- Master's degree in Math with Statistics and Operations Research from University of Madras
- Project Management Professional Certification from Project Management Institute

Active in the community, Swaminathan volunteers for "causes that focus on improving health or education.
