Traffic Counting, Safety Devices To Be Installed Along 695

Traffic counting and safety devices are being set up along 695, which will allow the MDOT to monitor traffic flow and volumes.

CATONSVILLE, MD — The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will be installing traffic counting and safety devices along 695 between U.S. 40 and MD 144 in Catonsville on both the inner and outer loop. These devices will allow the department to monitor traffic flow and volumes.

Construction to install the devices will occur between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. through next Friday. Construction began Sunday. Expect lane closures for each loop, WJZ reported.
