Weekend Events: Appaloosa at Frederick Road Fridays

It's the weekend before the Fourth of July and Catonsville is buzzing with anticipation for the parade.

If you need something to get you in a festive mood, then we've found a list of weekend activities to do around town.

Start your Friday at on Egges Lane where the Classic Rock band and crowd favorite Appaloosa will be playing. The music starts at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday if you're doing some shopping on Frederick Road, consider stopping by for . Everything in the store from jewelry to handbags to tanning lotions is 15 percent off until the end of the month.

And if you can't wait until Sunday to get some fresh, local produce at the Sunday Farmers Market, then consider stopping by the at the Samaritan Women just inside the city on Frederick Road. The nonprofit has started farming on its land and sells it chemical-free produce from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Also on Saturdays, a program is being held at . The program teaches young girls modeling tips, styling tips, photoshoot, fashion show, etiquette and more.
