Weekend Events: Free Comic Book Day, Flower Fest

If you're looking for a weekend to spend hanging out on Frederick Road this spring, this weekend may be the weekend to do it. There's a lot going on around town. Here's our list:

to benefit the on Saturday at 9 a.m. The event will start on the campus for the Children's Home at Bloomsbury Avenue. The registration fee is $25.

on Saturday at 10 a.m in Oella. If you want to participate in the plant swap, it costs $5.

at on Saturday at 11 a.m. That's right, all you have to do is show up and get a comic book for free. There's lots of other things going on at the store too.

Flower Fest sponsored by the on Sunday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This new event coincides with the opening of the Sunday Catonsville Farmers Market.

Yard sales galore on Saturday. Two big ones are the Oak Crest/Old Catonsville and Coldwell Banker one. Check the calendar on Saturday for the full list.
