Anne Arundel County Hosts Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The ceremony will be held on Nov. 27 at Glen Burnie Town Center.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD – Anne Arundel County Executive Steve Schuh invites community members to join him as the county kicks off the holiday season with its official Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the Glen Burnie Town Center.

“The Christmas season is a special time for Anne Arundel County residents,” said Schuh. “I encourage all our citizens to join us as we kick off the holiday season with a night of family fun!”

The tree-lighting ceremony will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on November 27, in the main square of the town center. Families will be treated to Santa, holiday treats, Bruster’s ice cream, discounted ice skating, and the Chick-Fil-a cow. Children will also be treated to “Hot Cocoa with a Cop” with members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

The event is sponsored by Anne Arundel County Government, the North County Chamber of Commerce, and members of the Glen Burnie business community.
