What's Open, Closed In Edgewater, Davidsonville On July 4

EDGEWATER, MD — Many government services change their hours around holidays. Here is what's opened and closed in Edgewater and Davidsonville around Independence Day, which is on Sunday, July 4:

Government Offices: Anne Arundel County government offices will be closed Monday. Annapolis offices will be open Monday.

Courts: Courts will be closed Monday. Court hours are listed here.

Parks: All parks will be open for their normal hours. Park hours are listed here. This interactive map shows the parks closest to you.

Libraries: The Anne Arundel County Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday. A full list of library hours and contact information is posted here.

Post Offices: Post offices will be closed Monday.

Trash And Recycling: All landfills and recycling centers will be closed Monday. In Anne Arundel County, Monday collection will happen Tuesday. Tuesday's pickup will occur Wednesday. A schedule of all Anne Arundel County trash and recycling operations is available here.

Annapolis trash pickup will have some changes. Monday collection will happen Tuesday. Tuesday's pickup will occur Wednesday. There will not be any bulk metal collection Wednesday. Anybody with questions about the city's trash removal should reach out to Annapolis Public Works.

Buses: The Annapolis bus system will run limited routes on Independence Day. Only the purple bus will operate on Monday. That line will run on a Sunday schedule.

The County Connector will operate on a Sunday schedule this Monday.

These Anne Arundel County bus routes will run on a Sunday schedule this Sunday:

• Gold Route
• 201 Route
• 202 Route

These county lines will not operate at all on Sunday:

• Brooklyn Park Connector
• Crofton Connector
• South County Call N Ride
• Yellow Route
• Paratransit

Anne Arundel will not run any routes on Monday.

Trains: The MARC train will operate Sunday and Monday. All MARC schedules are listed on its website. The Light RailLink will run Sunday and Monday. The Light RailLink's schedule is posted here.
