Anne Arundel Police Raid Two Homes, Seize Drugs And Cash
Six people were arrested before dawn Wednesday in drug raids at homes in Tracy's Landing, Shady Side, say Anne Arundel police.
TRACY'S LANDING, MD — In predawn raids on Wednesday, the Anne Arundel County police arrested six people on drug charges and seized stashes of heroin, cocaine and marijuana, according to a police report. The raids took place at homes in Tracy's Landing and Shady Side.
The two raids were the culmination of a six-month narcotics investigation, the police said.
At 5:11 a.m. Wednesday, the department's Quick Response Team, a narcotics team and other officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 6400 block of Old Solomon's Island Road in Tracy's Landing.

The police said they arrested four individuals and seized 7.24 grams of heroin with an estimated street value of $870. They also seized drug paraphernalia, about $1,500 in cash and 0.21 grams of cocaine.
The four people who were arrested were each charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin, cocaine and fentanyl, as well as two counts of possession of a controlled substance (not marijuana) and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Three individuals were listed as residents of the 6400 block of Old Solomon's Island Road: Linda Lou Martin, 61; Ronald Donnell Spriggs, 57; and Morgan Harry Jones, no age listed.
The fourth person arrested was Stephanie Michelle Greenwell, 26, of the 1300 block of Juniper Street in Shady Side. Jones and Spriggs also were charged with one count of possession of ammunition by a prohibited possessor, the police said.
At 5:59 a.m. Wednesday, the Quick Response Team, a narcotics team and other officers served a search warrant at a home in the 1300 block of Juniper Street in Shady Side, seizing 2.27 grams of marijuana, a 26-inch marijuana plant and what police described as 1.5 Suboxone Sublingual strips, weighing about 1.14 grams including packaging.
The police also arrested two individuals with addresses listed in the Juniper Street location: Stephen Matthew Greenwell, 29, and Kevin Horace Hunt, 55. Both were charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance (not marijuana).
