ATV Accident In Riva Sends Man To Shock Trauma Center

EDGEWATER, MD — A man flipped his all-terrain vehicle on the 500 block of Laurel Road Thursday evening. The accident happened just after 7 p.m. and trapped the man under his ATV. The man was seriously injured.

A medical helicopter flew the man, 40, to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. His injuries may be life threatening, an Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesperson said in a press release. County police are investigating the cause of the overturn.
