Car Turned Over, On Fire, RTE 214 Central Ave
Major delays in the early Monday morning commute for local residents in the Mayo area
In the early Monday AM hours commuters in the quiet communities of Mayo, at the end of Central Ave, found heavy delays caused by an overturned vehicle. At aprx. 3:30 AM the vehicle appeared to have been on fire for sometime. Emergency response was on the scene as the cabin of the car continued to roar with flames. Both lanes were closed until aprx. 5am when the fire was fully extinguished and 1 lane was reopened to the side of the vehicle. No information on injuries to report at this time.
