Deale Man Flown To Hospital After SUV Crash: Police
In a Tuesday night accident on Mount Zion Marlboro Road, an SUV hit a tree and then was struck by a car, say Anne Arundel police.

LOTHIAN, MD — A Deale man suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident Tuesday night in which his SUV ran into a tree and then was hit by a car, according to the Anne Arundel County police. Charles Edward Turner III, 29, was flown to UM Prince George’s Hospital Center in critical condition, the police said.
Police officers responded to the scene of the collision at 11:23 p.m. Tuesday on Mount Zion Marlboro Road near Greenock Road in Lothian, a police report stated. They determined that a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer driven by Turner had been moving southbound "at a high rate of speed" when it approached a bend in the road.
Turner lost control of the SUV, and it struck a tree and spun back into Mount Zion Marlboro Road, the police said. A short time later, another southbound vehicle, a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am, came along and struck the Mountaineer, which was disabled in the roadway.
