Local resident Kerry McQuighan, who is managing the dog park efforts, wrote to Patch to share the group’s progress.
“I actually just spoke with the contact person at the Department of Parks & Recreation and he said there’s a real possibility of improving one of the existing local parks to add a fenced in dog area! So now we are more confident than ever and seeking to gain a big following,” she said.
