Throughout each excitement-filled 8-week session, students will enjoy a variety of hands-on FUN activities that are guaranteed to blow their minds! From animal interactions, to games, hikes, some field trips, experiments, and crafts.

Students will also enjoy guest speakers from various professions such as, veterinary medicine, herpetology (special visits and instruction will be provided by National Geographic’s Dr. Brady Barr), marine biology, animal rescuing, zoo keeping, falconry, The Brickhouse, Jing Ying Kung Fu, learn about genetics with a snake breeder, and much more! See what it takes to have an animal career!

*Daily lessons include animal care and husbandry, animal training and enrichment, public speaking, research tactics, program planning, team building, and leadership.*

This program is ideal for students who are interested in training to be an EcoAdventures Jr. Assistant. At mid-year, and end of each 16-week session, parents are invited to a presentation led by their young explorers. Participants are encouraged to attend multiple sessions to pursue a variety of interests and themes.

ECO Snake Van picks up at: Severna Park Elementary, Folger McKenzie, Benfield, Oakhill, Severna Park Middle, Shipley’s Choice. We do pick up on early dismissal days right after school (already allotted in the price).
There are two after school performances – midyear and at the end of the year.

Every day is different, so we recommend a minimum of 2 days/week to get the continuity of the theme or group work. Special discount available for students that attend 5 days a week.

Many of these classes involve outdoor activities – please have your child prepared with sneakers and a coat.

Basic pricing information:
$22/day 4-6pm (includes homework help, instruction, snack and materials)

*18/day (discount pricing for students that sign up for 5 days/week)

$37/early dismissal days 2-6pm
Add $5/day for van pick up
$5 discount for payment by check
