Edgewater Exxon Robbed at Gunpont
Police say the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Anne Arundel County police said they are investigating the Thursday night armed robbery of the Exxon gas station in Edgewater, where a suspect reportedly escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
In a press release, the police department said said a man entered the Exxon gas station on Mitchells Chance Road at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. He showed a handgun to the gas station employee and demanded money.
The employee handed over the cash and the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. No injuries were reported.
