Gunfire Damages Cars, Home In Anne Arundel County: Police

Residents told police they heard loud bangs overnight. They woke up to find their cars and home damaged by gunfire, an incident report said.

Churchton, MD — Police said gunfire damaged two cars and a Churchton home early Saturday morning. The residents told officers they heard shots around 1:30 a.m.

The locals called the police that afternoon. Officers turned out to the 5400 block of Churchton Road around 2:50 p.m., an incident report said.

The write-up informed that police surveyed the scene and searched the surroundings. The officers did not find any more damaged property, the report indicated.
