Harwood Man, Team Place Second In U.S. Para Sailing Championship
A Harwood man and his two teammates are now ranked second in the U.S. after winning second in the U.S. Para Sailing Championship.
HARWOOD, MD — Declan Lombard of Harwood sailed into third place in the Independence Cup and second in the U.S. Para Sailing Championship, becoming the second top U.S. team with partners Dawn Hart of Florida and Karen Atkinson of Illinois.
The 2019 Independence Cup and U.S. Para Sailing Championship, hosted by the Judd Goldman Sailing Center and organized by the Judd Goldman Adaptive Sailing Foundation, was held July 26-28 in Chicago on Lake Michigan.
