Kids & Bees at August 19 "Sundae" Sunday
Free family fun and a kid-focused science lesson at the Capt. Avery Museum
Come to the August 19 "Sundae" Sunday at the Capt. Avery Museum in Shady Side and hear beekeeper Mr. Nathan explain why honey bees are "one of the wings of life." Also, make bee-themed crafts, play lawn games, find treasures in the sandbox, run through the misting tent, paint in the garden, and eat ice cream! 1-4 pm. Free admission. Charge for painting supplies and sundaes.
