Esther, Chris and Xena Sawyer of Edgewater all won gold medals in Point Sparring in their divisions on Saturday, March 28. They competed in the Maryland AAU District Taekwondo Championships in Waldorf at the Capital Clubhouse.

“We thank God, our coaches and more than the 40 fellow spartan warrior teammates from our school, East Coast Martial Arts, that competed with us for making this day of kicking and punching so much fun,” the family said.
