Santa Claus is Coming to Stan & Joe's

Haven't had a chance to visit Santa yet this year and share your Christmas wishes? No worries-he's heading to town a few weeks early.

The season's top celebrity has scheduled a pit stop in Edgewater Sunday, and will be arriving at Stan & Joe's Saloon in South River Colony at 10 a.m. atop the Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department Fire Truck.

Santa's visit is part of a fundraising brunch to benefit South River Youth Athletics. The brunch runs from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday. There will be free photo ops with Santa in a festive holiday setting decorated by East Coast Martial Arts. And, all children who make a toy donation for the fire department Santa Run will receive a special treat from Santa himself.

Additionally, the first 50 kids' brunches sold during the event, will receive a free goodie bag that include goodies from local businesses. Fifteen percent of the brunch proceeds will be donated to SYRA.
