Savvy Kids At Edgewater School Select The Hottest Holiday Toys

EDGEWATER, MD — In September, a group of savvy preschoolers at Goddard Schools in Edgewater engaged in a very important task - deciding which toys would become the hottest ones of the holiday season. The 2019 Goddard School Preschooler-Approved Toy Test is a huge undertaking spearheaded by preschoolers with the Goddard Schools, which has 50 locations across the country.

Toy brands such as V-Tech, Leap Frog, Play Monster and Manhattan Toy Company send in samples for the preschoolers to test drive . Their opinions are highly valued, explained Courtney Heimbuck, spokesperson for Goddard Schools.

"They test a couple of toys each day for a week," Heimbuck told Patch.

This is the 12th year local kiddos have been able to shape the holiday shopping season and the results are in!
