During the week long program, students will work with a professional teaching artisit to develop basic acting skills and create an original performance!

Students will:
· Participate in fun drama games
· Learn to use the 5 Acting Tools and Skills: Voice, Body, Imagination, Cooperation, and Concentration
· Explore how to set a scene, create characters, and perform a story using minimal costumes and props
· Practice their oral language and literacy skills by sequencing a story and retelling it in their own words
· Collaborate with their fellow actors to create an original drama inspired by a myth, fable or fairy tale
· Present their original drama to their family and friends on the last day of class
