Three Edgewater Teens Charged With Breaking and Entering Vehicles, Theft
Edgewater residents reported seeing suspicious people entering cars in the area; three teens face charges.
Edgewater, MD — Three Edgewater teenagers have been arrested for breaking and entering vehicles in the area and stealing property.
According to police reports, Anne Arundel County Police officers responded to the area of Grange Road and Londontown Road around 3:40 a.m. Tuesday after a local resident reported seeing several suspicious people entering vehicles.
When officers arrived, they spotted a group of suspects on foot, who then fled.

Officers were able to catch up with one suspect near Tacoma Road, who matched the description of the suspects provided by a witness. Police say the suspect was a juvenile, and he had property reported stolen from one of the vehicles on him.
Following the teen's arrest, police said they were able to piece together information on the other suspects involved, which led them to an address on Quantico Road. At that address, police located two other teens who were identified by witnesses.

All three juveniles were taken to the Southern District and charged with theft, rogue and vagabond. They were later released to their parents.
The three suspects, whose identities are not released because they are juveniles, were reportedly between the ages of 15 to 17 years old.
