What's Open, Closed In Edgewater On Easter, Good Friday

EDGEWATER, MD — Easter and Good Friday will be a little different this time around. With coronavirus cases still high, many celebrations were canceled. The one thing locals can count on is a scheduled holiday.

Many government services are already affected by coronavirus closures, but the holiday will shake up their hours more. Here is what's opened and closed around Friday and Sunday's holidays:

Government Offices: Anne Arundel County government offices will be closed Friday and Sunday.

Courts: Courts will be open Friday but closed Sunday. Court hours are listed here.

Parks: All parks will be open for their normal hours. Park hours are listed here. This interactive map shows the parks closest to you.

Libraries: All remote services from the Anne Arundel County Public Library will be open on Friday but closed on Sunday. Libraries are currently closed for in-person service. They are open for curbside pickup, however. A full list of library hours and contact information is posted here.

Post Offices: Post offices will be open Friday but closed Sunday.

Trash And Recycling: All landfills and recycling centers will be closed Friday and Sunday. Curbside collection will continue as usual. A schedule of all Anne Arundel County trash and recycling operations is available here.

Buses: The County Connector will run on a Sunday schedule this Friday and Sunday.
