Howard Co. DPW Hosts Public Meeting on Sewer Project
DPW will hold a public meeting on May 23 from 7-9 p.m. to discuss an Upper Little Patuxent parallel sewer project.

From Howard County: Howard County’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, May 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Harvester Baptist Church, 9605 Old Annapolis Road in Ellicott City to discuss an Upper Little Patuxent parallel sewer project. The project will involve the design and construction of approximately 2,500 linear feet of sewer replacement and stream bank stabilization. The project site is located along the Upper Little Patuxent River, beginning just north of Old Annapolis Road and continuing east of Woodland Road, west of Harvester Baptist Church/Country Court and ending just south of MD108 and the Fairway Hills Golf Club. The 4600 to 4700 block of Woodland Avenue, the Harvester Baptist Church and the Country Court community would be affected by the construction.
A formal presentation, including the proposed design plans, will take place starting at 7:00 p.m. After the presentation, DPW staff members will remain on hand to explain the proposed plans, answer any questions and gather public comments.

An interpreter for people who are deaf or hard of hearing will be available if requested seven working days prior to the meeting. Please call the Department of Community Resources and Services at 410-313-6400 (voice) or use Relay at 7-1-1, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
