The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy is hosting a community event to promote simple actions homeowners can take to make their property more Bay-friendly. There will be a tree planting, Bayscape garden planting, rain barrel sales, conservation garden tour, children’s activities, and more. Master Gardeners will also be on hand to answer gardening questions. Come enjoy live music, food, and family fun. Volunteers are needed to help with plantings; community service learning hours available. Contact Amy Young, ayoung@gunpowdervc.org or visit gunpowdervalleyconservancy.org/volunteer
