17th Annual Matzohball 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run Set for June 6

Race is free, but donations go to three nonprofits: Grassroots, Dream Builders and Hope Works

The 17th Annual Matzohball 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run and Howard County Family Wellness Day is set for Sunday, June 6. The annual event will be virtual and at no cost to participants. Host Temple Isaiah will be giving 100% of all donations made through the sign-up registration process to three organizations: Grassroots, Dream Builders and Hope Works.

The opening ceremony for the virtual race is 8:30 a.m., but participants are encouraged to run their own personal 5K or 1 mile course anywhere at any day or time, starting with the 9 a.m. official start on Sunday, June 6, right up through the following Sunday, June 13.

Race shirts are available at an additional cost. Participants must order by May 16 to get a race shirt. For more information and registration, click here.
