Brenda K. Smith, 68, of Bowie and formerly of Laurel passed away at Anne Arundel Medical Center on October 13, 2014. She was born on January 25, 1946 in West Virginia to the late Archie and Opal Quesenberry.
Brenda graduated from High Point High School in 1964 and has worked as a daycare provider for the past 50 years. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and daycare children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bobby Ray Quesenberry. She is survived by her husband Jerry Smith; loving children Wayne Smith, Vicki L. Felus, Brian Smith (Theresa), and Darlene Cooper; grandchildren Timothy, Lisa, Justin, Steven, Brooke, Alyssa, Benjamin, and Allie; and brothers John and Barry Quesenberry. She is also survived by her best friend Barbara Sutton and her devoted animals Leon, Missy, and Max.
