Bring Your Dog to Festive Friday Dec. 11

Free family friendly holiday entertainment in Downtown Columbia


The Downtown Columbia Partnership is presenting Festive Fridays, family friendly holiday entertainment produced by the Columbia Festival of the Arts, on Dec. 11 and 18, 5-8 p.m., at the Lakefront Promenade in Downtown Columbia. Musical groups, carolers, strolling entertainers dressed like characters from the movie “Frozen,” scavenger hunt with prizes, giveaways and free hot cider and cookies courtesy of Whole Foods Market will be featured.

On Fido Friday, Dec. 11, festivities will feature Mount Hebron High School Chamber Choir, The Bone Yard trombone players, holiday dog treats, and a dog costume contest at 6 p.m.

On Fire & Ice Friday, Dec. 18, entertainment will include a live ice sculptor, Harper’s Choice Middle School Choir, and Charm Performance fire and hoop dancers.
