Cintas To Close Laurel Plant: Report
The uniform company will lay off workers and convert the processing plant to handle pickups and drop-offs: Washington Business Journal.

LAUREL, MD — Cintas Corp., the uniform company, has filed a notice with Maryland's Department of Labor, Licensing & Regulation that it will close its Laurel processing plant and lay off up to 47 workers, the Washington Business Journal reported Wednesday. The company plans to convert the processing plant, where uniforms are cleaned and repaired, into a traditional branch for uniform pickups and drop-offs, a company spokeswoman said.
The Laurel processing plant's conversion will be final on June 30, the newspaper reported. Affected workers will be given a chance to apply to other jobs within Cintas or given severance packages. To see the Washington Business Journal article, click here.
