Delegate Terri Hill Visits Vantage Point on Friday, Jan. 31

Maryland State Delegate Terri L. Hill, M.D., will be a guest speaker at Residences at Vantage Point in Downtown Columbia on Friday, Jan. 31, 2 p.m., in the auditorium of the retirement community. She is being hosted by the Vantage Point chapter of the Maryland Continuing Care Residents Association (MaCCRA).

Delegate Hill will discuss challenges to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and efforts to ensure that every resident has access to affordable quality healthcare. She will address the difference between the ACA and Universal Healthcare and Healthcare for All and how would these plans impact prescription drug costs. Hill will also discuss how Maryland legislative efforts inform the Federal government efforts to fix the healthcare system.

MaCCRA, it is the only organization solely dedicated to protecting and advancing the interests of residents of continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), through advocacy and education.

Residences at Vantage Point was founded in 1990 and is a nonprofit serving people age 60 and above.
