Flash Flood Watch Issued for Prince George's County
The National Weather Service says heavy rain is in the weekend forecast.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for much of Maryland, including Prince George’s County, from 2 a.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday.
Heavy rains are expected, with 1 to 3 inches anticipated, according to the weather service. Forecasters put the odds for rain at 60 percent tonight, then 100 percent on Saturday and Saturday night.
There is the potential for flash flooding due to already wet conditions, so the weather service advises keeping an eye on streams, creeks and urban areas.
