Grotto Pizza Revamps Swirl Rewards Club
Members can earn more perks and reach them quicker
COLUMBIA, Md. – A New Year brings a new and improved Swirl Rewards Club program to Grotto Pizza.
Launched in 2012, the free-to-join program offers registered members the chance to earn points (for every dollar spent) that convert to rewards such as: free Pizza on your Birthday, holiday gifts, discounts and more. Upon reaching 100 points, the points automatically convert to Swirl Reward Bucks, which can be applied to your check or left on your account for future use.
Based on guest feedback through the Grotto Pizza Swirl Rewards App (available on the AppStore and Google Play) and market research, the restaurant has launched the following improvements for 2019:

- Swirl Reward Bucks never expire.
- Members can reach rewards up to 55 percent faster.
- A new tier structure offers even more rewards.
"During the past six years, we have introduced many new limited time promotions, but this time we made major improvements that benefit all members,” said Vinnie DiNatale, director of marketing for Grotto Pizza, Inc., noting that the club has grown to almost 160,000 active accounts. “We believe this new program will not only get current guests more engaged, but also attract many new guests to the Swirl Rewards Club.”

Grotto Pizza, Inc. first opened in 1960 in Rehoboth Beach, De. by owner Dominick Pulieri. Since then, it has grown to 23 locations throughout Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
